Bullying is an aggressive behavior that can have a negative impact on both victims and perpetrators. Islamic boarding schools as religious-based educational institutions are expected to be able to shape the character of religious students and avoid deviant behavior, including bullying. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of religiosity and the tendency of bullying behavior in adolescent students at the Multazam Islamic Boarding School in Semarang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample was adolescent students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a Likert scale questionnaire that measured the level of religiosity and the tendency of bullying behavior. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson correlation test to see the relationship between the two variables. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between the level of religiosity and the tendency of bullying behavior (r = -961 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05)). This means that the higher a person's level of religiosity, the lower the tendency to bully. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening religious values in shaping the character of adolescent students to avoid aggressive behavior. In conclusion, religiosity plays a protective factor against bullying behavior among students. The novelty in this study is its focus on the specific context of Islamic boarding schools as a unique non-formal religious educational environment, where the relationship between religiosity and social behavior has not been studied in depth.
